Australian singer and entertainer Jon Peters performs with acoustic guitar and harmonica, blending rhythm and melody with ease, and bringing his passion for music to every performance whether it is an intimate gathering or a lively crowd.

With a repertoire that spans Pop, Rock, Blues, Folk, Reggae and timeless classics, Jon puts his own stamp on every song. From the smooth sounds of Jack Johnson to the soul of Van Morrison, Jon's live music sets offer something for everyone.
A Global Journey
Born in the Netherlands as Joon Peterse (pronounced Yone Paytursuh), Jon simplified his name to “Jon Peters” while touring abroad, making it easier for audiences to connect with him.
Jon's upbringing was anything but ordinary, moving to Ireland at age eight with his family and returning to the Netherlands with his mother as a teen.
After working to gain a diploma in youth work - residential care and completing a qualification in bicycle repairs and small engine mechanics in the Netherlands, Jon returned to Ireland as a young man to live with his father and focus on his music career..

Musically Trained, Road-Tested
After returning to Ireland, Jon studied music management, and songwriting at Stoifan Noifa music college in Cork, while also gaining valuable experience in sound engineering and recording, This helped Jon to sculpt his dream of becoming a full time musician/entertainer.

​Life in Australia
After years of travel and performing across Europe, Jon eventually settled in Australia.
Now living with his wife Nikki in South Australia, and cherishing time with his three children Annabelle, Flynn and his youngest son Casey, Jon continues to perform at events and festivals, sharing his love of music with audiences of all ages.
